At Eco Saves You Energy Ltd, we help eligible households across the UK access fully funded home energy improvements through the Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) and the Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS).
These schemes are part of the UK government’s commitment to reduce carbon emissions, tackle fuel poverty, and help people live in warmer, more energy-efficient homes, without the financial burden.
What is the ECO4 Scheme?
The ECO4 Scheme supports low-income and vulnerable households by offering a whole-house approach to improving energy efficiency.
Before any heating upgrades or solar panels are installed, your home will first be insulated to modern standards, ensuring long-term savings and comfort. You may qualify if you:
Own or privately rent your home, and receive certain benefits.
What is ECO4 Flex?
Even if you're not on benefits, you may still qualify through ECO4 Flex if:
Your total household income is below £31,000, or
Someone in the home has a health condition affected by cold living conditions (e.g. respiratory, cardiovascular, or mobility issues)
What is the GBIS Scheme?
The Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS) is designed to offer free or subsidised insulation for homes with poor energy efficiency ratings (EPC D–G). It primarily helps:
Low-income households not on benefits
Homes with high heating costs
Those looking to reduce carbon emissions and energy waste
